About Amy

Amy began her harp studies at 10 years of age, studying on a lever harp for a year before transitioning to a pedal harp. She is currently studying with Elzbieta Szmyt, co-chairman of the harp department at the Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University.

Amy is a member of the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra and has also performed with Appalachia: A Southeastern Wind Symphony, the 2019 All East Senior Clinic and the Johnson City Symphony Orchestra. Earlier this year she competed in the American Harp Society's National Competition. Amy has enjoyed performing at dozens of venues in East Tennessee, the largest being the Knoxville Civic Coliseum, where she provided the prelude music for the Knoxville Nativity Pageant.

Amy is passionate about the harp and works hard to prepare for each event or performance. She would love to help create a beautiful atmosphere for your special occasion.
